Asics London 10K Run
July 11, 2010
For the last 3 years the Heritage of London Trust has entered runners in the Asics London 10K run. This enjoyable (and not too exhausting) race attracts tens of thousands of runners annually, and takes in some of London's most famous sights including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and St James's Palace, as well as the picturesque views of the Thames Embankment.

This year HOLT had 3 runners entered: Kristian Johns, Janet Thompson and Pat Williams. Pat and Janet have tackled the race before on behalf of HOLT and despite the sweltering conditions finished in a very impressive 79 minutes, while Kristian completed the race in a swift 61 minutes 7 seconds. We are very grateful to all our runners for taking part - all together they helped raise well over £300 for the Heritage of London Trust's charitable activities. We are very grateful for their efforts on our behalf and we hope they enjoyed taking part. Kristian seems to have enjoyed himself so much that he has already said he might run for us next year!
Well done to all our runners!
HOLT will have more entries in the Asics 10K next year, so if you are interested in running in 2011, please reserve your place with us!
