This reception aims to promote awareness of the Heritage of London Trust’s valuable role in our capital. The event will also highlight the similarities and closely related aims of English Heritage and the Trust. Conceived in 1825 as a monument to the Duke of Wellington, Wellington Arch is ideally situated in the centre of Hyde Park Corner and, with stunning views over London from the exterior balconies, it offers a truly unique and exciting venue. The evening will be attended by high profile patrons, politicians and representatives of English Heritage – those with a desire to preserve London’s unique and precious heritage.

There will be a luxury raffle at the event – all prizes having been kindly donated. The prizes are as follows:

  • Tea for two at the Lanesborough (donated by The Lanesborough Hotel)
  • Family membership of English Heritage (donated by English Heritage)
  • Dinner for two at Foliage Restaurant (donated by The Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park)
